JMV Technology is the Brazilian tech group that has operated JMVStream since 2003, pivoting to streaming in 2005. In 2020 we cut our dependency on third-party cloud and stood up our our own datacenter in Brazil; in 2025 we expanded to Miami. Today we run 8,947 active customers, 577 million views per month, and 13 PB of monthly traffic across 14 countries.
The people behind the infrastructure
JMV Technology was founded in 2003 hosting websites — about 180 customers in the early days. In 2005 we spotted the streaming opportunity: broadband was starting to reach Brazil, but no professional platform existed in Portuguese, priced in BRL, with local infrastructure.
We pivoted to streaming that year. We built Brazil's first 24/7 WebTV solution in 2012, shipped our own DRM in 2014, and launched multistream to social platforms in 2017. In 2020 we moved off third-party cloud and stood up our own datacenter in São Paulo — making us one of the few Brazilian streaming companies running on physical infrastructure with our own CDN. In 2025 we opened a datacenter in Miami to serve international customers.
Today I run the JMV Technology group, which spans more than 10 tech brands and serves 8,947 customers across 14 countries. I still own the technical architecture and personally handle enterprise escalations.

We put the limits up front — because we honor them. Vimeo caps at 2 TB of monthly bandwidth and buries it in the terms; Panda charges overage per GB; Sambatech takes 30% of the producer's revenue. We charge a flat rate.

WhatsApp from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., in Portuguese and English. Customers from 2003 still talk to the same team. No tickets vanishing into an endless queue.
